Description of OOK Invisible Hanging Supports 50 Pounds

Self tying wires that wrap around themselves and stay. Ties and cuts like string but holds like steel. Hang pictures, planters and window treatments. Soft and flexible, hands stay clean and cut free. Extremely strong and undetectable to the eye.

personally frustrated

It was hard to get a good set for the necessary knots and I made the cloud easy. Hanging is painful in itself, but this hanging wire kept slipping, not holding the knot and inevitably causing the lamp to fall apart. The lamp itself isn't that heavy, so it wasn't the weight. Anyway, I was just disappointed, it didn't last as expected.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Not bad

Difficult to use

Disappointed with this purchase. The wire is very difficult to work with and makes secure knots to hold the frame in place. The instructions are misleading about simply attaching to the frame and making a secure knot that will keep the frame from falling to the ground. Back to general steel wire and thin [decorative] fabric straps (for lighter frames). I bought two packs and am returning one.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Obsolete

Impossible to secure

This is crap. Advertised as wire. No, that is not so. I've been waiting for this "wire" and thought it was a wire. My fault is that I tried to use it out of excitement to hang some pictures. What it is is a thick fishing line on which it is impossible to tie a reliable knot. I've been playing around with nodes a bit and it's no joke to follow the packages instructions because it's not funny. It is absolutely impossible to tie that last knot that you are sure of. Do not be fooled. If you want…

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Knotting is almost impossible

Advertised as something that can be cut and tied, which is definitely not true. It's thick and desperate to keep its old (wound) shape, so it's very difficult to get a knot to stay because it does its best to flatten and unravel. Yes, I've tried several knots including the one on the box, as well as the slipknot and bowline. If you finally force him to stay, he'll still be a messy mess and refuse to pull himself into the right knot. tie it in knots.

Pros
  • Easy to read panel
Cons
  • New competitors have emerged
