I once figured out how to keep the base of the braid from swinging in a 1 inch hole (I've used (sleeve), they worked fine for my homemade ones Lamps.The only thing that worked I would change the switch it doesn't turn smoothly and feels cheap.I have other brands whose switches are very smooth and I can turn them with one hand.They glue and it requires one little work to turn it..but it could be much better for not much high price.compromise between cheap and low cost is not worth it.I would rather pay more and get quality.
