This item replaced a gold money clip, a family heirloom I still can't forget. However, I take some comfort in how well this inexpensive replacement gets the job done. It's very light and compact, and since it's made of carbon fiber, it's also resilient. I have four credit cards with me and a pack of about 20 bills. It holds them securely but is flexible enough to hold more but also less as it clamps tight enough to work effectively with just a credit card or two and a few bills. If I lose this, it's okay.
