I haven't used this to actually rappel yet but tested it out off a tree in the yard in a Swiss Seat since I didn't feel like digging out my harness. Worked nicely for that. It's a pretty simple piece of equipment, pretty hard to screw up. I'll update after I use it on an actual rappelling trip.
- Works as it should.
- The rescue figure 8 descender may not provide enough friction for those needing precise control when rappelling.
