I really like her. The outer casing (except for the lens) is made of strong metal, so plastic won't bend it. I read some other reviews that mentioned that the light is concentrated in the center. The version I received had a second small plastic defuser added inside to help with this. While this is still somewhat true, you don't notice it unless you look directly at the light - who does it? I love the fact that they are very thin, too thin in fact, which leads to the only issue I've found. The wire comes out the side of the device, not the middle. I installed them in place of existing jigs (not canned) and the hole was US standard size. Because the wires are not in the center of the unit, they do not go directly into the hole, preventing the unit from being flush with the ceiling. I would recommend adding 5mm of thickness to the block so the wires are flush or come out of the block in the middle. Since my ceiling is plasterboard, I made a small recess so the wires and block were flush. At $7 a piece I can't take a star off as the rest of the build quality seems very solid and will last for years.
