If you are looking for an affordable, dimmable, high intensity (15W!) LED lamp with direct connection or recessed mounting, you can't beat this set. These devices are approximately 3/4 inch thick and do not have a driver module. Quick Note: Not Sure! The leads from the PCB and the ground wire are on the side of the LED PCB and pass through a hole in the metal base. It is not as shown in Revain Add. These wires are actually outside the "4" (3.56") octagonal box and therefore get caught under the sharp edge of the metal octagonal box, which can cause a short and a fire hazard.
