We have a shower stall that always seemed dark to me. It had a single built-in lamp with a 75W bulb (the maximum allowed). My first thought was to add a few more sunken cans, but inspection showed I had to work from the side of the attic as the wiring and plumbing made it difficult to place the cans where they should have been. Solution, I discovered this. They were perfect for that! You only need a 4" round drawer that mounts easily from the bottom (no loft climbing required) and is low profile enough to not require the height and clearance required for a recessed box mount. I added two new lights. and since they also supply the springs and hardware needed to replace a lightbulb in an existing jar, I did that too. The results are amazing. When I turned on the light, I was very pleased. Some previous reviews reported manufacturing defects that could have caused a short. These have apparently been fixed as the bulbs I received had no indication of this.
