Review on Brighten up Your Space with LIFX Color 1100Lm Edison Screw Bulb by Gary Konduru

My whole house is filled with LIFX products. Their best feature is that they don't require a hub. If you like colorful bright lights they work well and I think the app integration is pretty good. What worries me the most is that on this new batch (red box compared to the previous cylinder pack) they cut out the 3200K color temperature support in the settings. . I'm a bit of a color snob and am very sensitive to differences in the color temperature of light. All my other lamps are set to 3200K, but the new lamps don't have that option. LIFX claims to be able to reproduce "billions" of colors, if that's true then why get rid of the 3200K setting? I'm just guessing that for some reason they can no longer guarantee color accuracy for 3200K? Basically, I can't match this new bulb to my other bulbs without going to a more orange or bluish hue. I first saw this in candles (a horribly made product btw) and I wonder if that will apply to all their lights any time soon? LIFX, do you want to impress me and get a better rating? Reset the setting or fix the LED feed issue so you're offering the same "white" color temperatures as before. Space for my favorite settings. (UPDATED) For some oddities, it looks like LIFX has now removed the 3200k color setting for ALL lights. If you have older lamps that support this and you updated the firmware they removed the 3200K color option. NOT COOL. Yes, I know it's a small feature, but it was important to me. You shouldn't take a feature away from users in such a mean way. At least say when and why you are doing it. Another LIFX star down.
