Comfortable deck shoes. Living in Florida, the standard footwear seems to be flip flops, so I was looking for something as an alternative when I wanted to grab a quick bite to eat with friends or run a quick errand. They were affordable, fit as expected, were very easy to put on (but stayed snug on the foot), and were more comfortable than the cheap deck shoes you get for $10. They also look so unique that I won't be turning them into my "Turf Work" deck shoes that everyone else seems to be turning into over time. then they are colored. then I'm looking for another pair. then the cycle begins again.
