Bought to be placed under kitchen cabinets. They were very easy to put on, the tape is very sticky and sticks great. I honestly didn't know that the ribbon is connected to the app and Alexa and can change colors. I thought they were just whitish in color. I didn't read the full description when I bought it. But it has some interesting features. For example, in the app you can take a photo of where the lights are installed and if you remotely turn on the lights or change the colors of the lights from the app, it will show you how it looks in the photos you have taken. And it's perfectly legal. I thought it was cool. It also helps me see at night when it's dark.
