The monitor mount appears to be made upside down, the slotted female end up so it's less secure if it slips, no more. The monitor mount is 100% attached to the mount and does not provide a 'shoe' or ability to attach (your large monitor) to a shoe, then simply slip the shoe into the mount. This requires placing your ($$$) monitor securely on top of a stack of books, a small shelf, etc. on a bracket at low height relative to the bracket. After installing the four screws, you must manually lift the bracket to adjust the monitor to the desired height. This is not user friendly and is not recommended for large monitors with a higher center of gravity relative to the hand. The last straw was the sticking of the hand above the tabletop. The arm protrudes so far into the work area that you cannot effectively position your monitor farther back, resulting in larger (32) monitors being at best +4 inches from your desk and unable to utilize the floating space between desks . and wall. Oh, and it's very weak - the monitor shakes continuously while typing. The assembly instructions are totally misplaced and ask you to install the items on the bracket after the monitor is installed and positioned. This is a generous two stars and would have been returned had there not been any uninstall/reinstall issues.
