My son loves this sheep. He had it for a few months and is now 10 months old. The lullaby is gentle and soothing, it helps him fall asleep and he enjoys hugging the lamb. It's not very loud on the highest setting, which is usually fine in its quiet bedroom. If you need something for a louder setup, you might need something else. It's also a bit tricky to press the buttons and put music on, but it works and my son loves it, so I don't mind a little inconvenience. It has a sleep mode so it can fall asleep underneath it, and it turns off after 30, 60, or 90 minutes. It also has a great lock feature so the kid can't flip it over and turn it off or change it to a different setting. I bought two just so he never had to be without one.
