little or no adhesion during assembly.

Not sure if it sat on the shelf too long or what as others of the same type have worked fine. It cuts well, but when I tried to take it out all the letters were there and there was no way to glue them back. I had to use two picks: one to pick it up and one to hold the letters or images I didn't want to tear off. It took three times as long and sometimes I had to throw everything away. quite disappointing
