I’ve used it several times and honestly NO…it doesn’t keep heat that long but it will stay warm for maybe 5- 8 minutes so you have to keep getting up and working it which kind defeats the purpose imo. BUT, for any naturalista like me, I have Very low porosity/dry which makes it hard for my hair to get moisture in and after I put my leave-in on my hair I stuck this cap on and my hair was soooo soft and moisturized. It’s not great for deep conditioning for a while but it’s good for quick treatments. I’ll attest to the fact that it’s comfortable and does stretch. I have a big head thanks to genetics and a lot of hair and this stays on my head.
