However, works well to stop the loss of loose strands.
Works well, but in order not to lose loose strands of fiberglass around the edges, I took a small propane torch and heated the loose edges of the cut out patches before attaching them. This kept the lost strands from spreading when you covered the fiberglass. Do not use a large flame or you will ignite the fiberglass! The flame melts the loose fluff together. Worked great on cracks!
