I had an early version of this machine in college and it lasted over 6 years. And I had no doubts or concerns about ordering another one. I've had my coffee maker for a month now. The first week everything was fine and gradually the lid of the pot itself sinks into the pot so that it no longer presses the button where the liquid goes through, so the grist gets everywhere and the machine itself is very difficult to clean . I've wasted so many cups of coffee just trying to get the liquid to seep into the pot without being ground. I have to buy another pot because it's getting worse and worse. So unhappy with the drop in quality and durability.
