Review on πŸ“‘ KING OA8501 HDTV Directional Over-the-Air Antenna with Mount, Signal Finder - Black (Improved SEO) by Drexel Wortham

Exceptional antenna.

I can't express how happy I am with this antenna! History: Bought a camper in February. Completely new. It came with an omnidirectional TV/AM/FM antenna. It was sort of a mushroom-shaped affair, receiving only about three TV stations in a large metropolitan area where I know there were dozens more. The radio reception got worse. I did my research and read countless reviews before purchasing this antenna. It appeared to be the best rated antenna of its kind. Came in perfect condition with everything that should have been included. My rig was different from the others in that I didn't have the old retro-style swivel antenna mounted, so I treated it like a new rig. As I started removing the previous antenna, I noticed that the manufacturer did a very poor job on the RG-6 connectors. Loose contacts, spikes (middle conductor) are WAY too long, twisted cables, etc. So I thought I'd try to fix the bad setup first and give the original antenna a second chance. No luck there. It was just as bad as before! The old antenna came out and this one stood up. The instructions are excellent and I got the new one up and running in about two hours. I have 65 (count them) 65 channels right away! Adjusting the directional knob a little got me 67. Of course I edited the new Dicor block very well. I also installed a separate radio antenna and it works fine too. I forgot to mention that I did my best to make sure the problem wasn't with my receiving device. In fact, the radio worked better with the hanger than with the original antenna, and the TV picked up about ten channels by sticking a cheap indoor antenna out of the RV window. I am very happy with this antenna. There were no issues as stated by some reviews.
