I have several "smaller" automatic wire strippers, but I bought this small machine to use when working on a client's site , because it looks more professional known brand tools. It works well enough, but no better than my automatic vice grip strippers. In fact, I prefer vice grip strippers for the same reason others have mentioned; the wire length limiter just doesn't stay taut. I can adjust the length and tighten the screw with my fingers as tight as I can, use it once, just put it in my back pocket for a minute, pull it out to use again, and the wire length stopper is loose and flapping around. You should rename it to "wire length flopper". What's weird is that once I put it on I feel like everything is secure with no signs of loosening or movement. Aside from tightening with pliers (which is inconvenient), I have to put up with that when using them. The vice grip pullers, on the other hand, work great and don't give me any problems (other than accidentally leaving a piece of insulation inside).
