Something in the mechanism stopped working during sharpening. It's hard to describe. It's not really a "freeze" like anyone else has experienced, but I can feel an aspect of the mechanism changing in such a way that the result is I twist and turn and the pepper doesn't come out. It eventually reverts to normal grinding, but this problem occurs every time I grind peppers with it. I've tried holding it in different ways, spinning it slower/faster, all sorts of things but nothing happens. After all, it's garbage. Why is it so hard to find a decent pepper mill? It's like my third try.
