Review on 👞 Allen Edmonds Classic Black Dress Shoe by Mark Loredo

Nice discreet black belt for a dress. Not as flexible as the AE tapes I've had in the past. Both inside and outside this tape is very dry. I don't know exactly how to describe it other than dry. The base is different and more akin to a semi-cured gray compared to the previous natural tan of my much older AE belt, which is more flexible and richer in moisture resistance with a soft tan felt base. Don't get me wrong, it still looks very sharp, but something I didn't expect from an AE leather product at all. I have a dozen pairs of AE shoes and a selection of shoes from AE, RL, Coach, Cole Haan/Bragano and Trafalgar and I feel like even ten years ago these products were a little better.
