Invest in the best.

I bought this as my first blender and I encountered some annoying issues the first time I used it. The bowl didn't seem to want to spin the way I wanted it to, so in the end I just had to detach it and use it. It's like a hand mixer to go anywhere. The attachments wouldn't stay either (they were in the right slots). My biggest problem is that when I tried making frosting with it, it started smelling like burnt plastic and released a few puffs. Smoke. I immediately turned it off and switched to my old Kitchenaide hand mixer. I bought this as a starter mixer for my home bakery and I have a few other Hamilton Beach products that I've raved about at friends. He returns very disappointed.

Pros
  • Two in one, the lightweight hand mixer easily detaches from the base for added versatility and is suitable for any baking recipe.
Cons
  • Factor Set
