I bought this to replace an old DVR that was having trouble showing all 16 channels at once. Although it wasn't a brand I was familiar with, I took a chance. I was glad I did, this is a quality product. It shows all 16 channels with no problems and the picture quality is fantastic. It is very user-friendly and allows you to use a second hard drive, giving you a lot of storage space. And for me the bonus was that it comes with a remote control. Many of the ones I've bought in the past haven't. I'm usually hesitant to recommend anything because what I like might not be what you like, but I feel confident enough to recommend it strongly. This is a quality product.
