I have tried using it but it is the size of your light board and I find it difficult to paint on it when I have to tilt it up because my diamond painting is much larger than standing up, so it's difficult place the painting. I think it will work better if it's on a table or whatever you're using at a slight angle. Haven't tried it yet, just not used to using it. I use a magnifying glass with a built-in light to turn around and see better. I wish it was higher and wider for diamond painting.
