Yes, some reviewers said it wasn't worth the higher price but then complained that they had trouble fitting their "plastic" socket into place. This rubber is inserted directly into the hole in the wing and plugged inside onto the antenna connector. It took me no effort to put it on once the old rubber was removed and to me the extra $4 was worth the easy installation. It's up to you to save your money and pay in desperation if you want or get the right OEM part here.
