Exactly what I needed!

I'm 72 years old and I successfully installed this little tubular thing because my pickup truck didn't even have it. I read all the other comments and was able to install with no problems! Hooray!

Pros
  • Sturdy finish
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Don't wait - car accessories

Is your old antenna rotten? Is your antenna loose? Mine was and I don't know why I've waited so long for this replacement. Just slide it into the mounting hole until it seals. It is so easy.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Repair

2010 Tundra Platinum

Excellent fit. Lubricate the inner and outer parts and put it on after 5 minutes. I used needle nose pliers to remove the old, torn rubber base. No fenders had to be removed. It lasted about 10 minutes while enjoying the cigar. Very easy. Recommend.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other kits

Glad it was available!

It was nice to find this antenna socket. The original fell apart in the car wash. I ordered it on my phone before I left the sink. He came to my house very quickly. It's a bit tricky to get it to sit completely flush with the body.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Slightly crumpled

Too expensive for a cheap part.

Cheap to make and barely fits the hole. It has a small rib around the back to lock it in the side panel, but the rib is so tiny it doesn't stay in place for long. I smeared it with petroleum jelly to move it down the base of the antenna but still no luck with it staying in place. That shouldn't cost $13.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Negative impression

If you have a horribly broken antenna out on the tundra then this article is a must. It's a little tricky to put on, but with time and a little lube it will fit like a glove. I spent hours fixing the antenna so it was nice that it fit right into the wing like it should. Keeps the antenna safe and tidy. Feel free to buy this product, it will not disappoint you.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Some small things

WORTH THE EXTRA MONEY.

Yes, some reviewers said it wasn't worth the higher price but then complained that they had trouble fitting their "plastic" socket into place. This rubber is inserted directly into the hole in the wing and plugged inside onto the antenna connector. It took me no effort to put it on once the old rubber was removed and to me the extra $4 was worth the easy installation. It's up to you to save your money and pay in desperation if you want or get the right OEM part here.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Compatibility

Works well on Tundra 2011

I was skeptical after reading previous reviews. But some showed that it was good. I haven't seen many Tundra models from my year of manufacture, which is 2011. I watched a YouTube video where a guy used Windex to lubricate the inside and outside of a part. It looked easy enough. I did the same and had no problems. A pair of pliers with needles to remove the old base and the bottom of a screwdriver to press on the flat part that is flush with the antenna body. Installation took less than three…

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Out of fashion
