Review on Anchor Hocking Glass Bistro Pitcher: 64-Ounce Clear Design with White Stopper by Hassan Tomlinson

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Anchor Hocking appears to be still at rock bottom when it comes to his pitching skills.

As humans, we have enjoyed the luxury of a noble vessel for thousands of years. This is a fairly simple device; You pour liquid into it and then pour the same liquid into another container. It's also pretty complete in terms of technology. I mean, really, what's left to improve? Unless you are the anchor. In this case, you have successfully undone all of humanity's advances in the creation of the glass. Liquids should flow out of the jug, not overflow like with the bistro glass jug. It's as if this pitcher just went numb after having his wisdom teeth removed and can't feel his lips anymore. This bistro glass pitcher pitcher spills when poured quickly and spills when poured slowly. Therefore, at the time of watering, you need to prepare a towel to clean the jug, countertop and floor (or basically anything that is under the jug when watering). You'll also need to clean up the little rectangle of goo on the fridge shelf that's left from the bottom of the pitcher if you don't clean it thoroughly after each pour. I will not return this useless bistro glass pitcher. . The cost of this jar is below my threshold for financial pain compared to the pain of wrapping a glass bottle for safe return and then combining it with the pain of a trip to the post office. Instead, I throw it for recycling. Difficult. Perhaps a more skilled maker will be rewarded with the leftover Anchor Hocking pitcher and actually create something of value. I will be bitterly purchasing a replacement and rest assured it will not be received due to Anchor Hocking's utterly disappointing and appallingly inept design. It still amazes me that after millennia of making glass, humankind would experience such disappointment as Anchor Hocking. Of course, I could be wrong in saying that anchor hocking is an inappropriate design. It's also possible that they simply don't care about making a product that works. For the record, I've expertly poured liquids from various containers over the years, including milk from glass bottles that were shipped to my home as a child. I'm sure my liquid pouring skills will rival the technology that Anchor Hocking isn't as good at.
