I lived in an apartment with a large wooden island. Although I tried very hard to keep it oiled and not to spill, I accidentally spilled some beetroot juice on the counter and it got dirty. Water and soap didn't help. In order not to lose my deposit I ordered this package to sand down the problem area. I started with the coarsest sandpaper until the stain was gone. After that, I switched to a fine grit to bring the affected area back to maximum smoothness. It took 10 minutes and the result is excellent. After I was done, I used the butcher oil a few times (each a day or two apart) until it looked like new. If I needed sandpaper a lot, I probably wouldn't have gotten this package. The price isn't that high if you handle a lot, but it's quite suitable for people like me who live in a shared apartment and very rarely use sandpaper.
