I'm a graphic designer, so I needed glasses that were as transparent as possible and would block blue light so they wouldn't distort the true colors I see on the screen while I'm working. I did a lot of research and tried many brands, but these HyperX gaming glasses were my final choice. The only brand that had an even clearer lens tint was Gunnar's "Crystalline" line of lenses, but I couldn't handle the slight magnification on all of their glasses. This was supposed to reduce eye strain but it just made me dizzy and when I consulted my optometrist I was advised not to use magnification for my type of vision. However, consult your optician to decide what is best for you. As for frames, I personally like more minimalist frames where the frame itself is thin and the field of view is smaller, but that's just my personal aesthetic preference. Because they're primarily designed for work, looks aren't as important as functionality. So these glasses are actually better as they offer a larger field of view and cover a larger area in front of you to see the content of the monitor. I also like the red accent color. The frames are made of plastic, but that doesn't bother me personally. I prefer metal. But it doesn't matter for the functionality. There is no protection for the nose, so sometimes after wearing them for a while they can slip off your nose a bit. But they were winners. You have met all my requirements. Although it's a bit pricey, I knew I had special needs and since I'm staring at a screen all day at work and having fun after work, my eyes and health are more important.
