Review on πŸŒ‘ Deconovo Dark Grey Blackout Curtains - (52x84 Inch, Set of 2), Thermal Insulated Rod Pocket and Back Tab Curtains for Bedroom by Cody Henry

Blocks 95% of light but not 100%

For the prices these curtains are a great buy and will do a wonderful job of blocking light. If used in conjunction with blinds it pretty much blocks 100%However; these curtains on their own are not able to block 100%. I used a 1000 lumen flashlight that I tested at 987 lumens with a fully charged battery. My friends curtains that he bought blocked all light transmission. Not a single speck of light shown through. Unfortunately the Deconovo that I bought in black was unable to achieve this feat. I've added a picture to show the light coming through. Again this is 1000 lumens shining flush to the back of the curtain so it's still pretty impressive. I've adjusted the aperture and ISO to accurately reflected the amount of light, although the focus is terrible it's very accurate with regards to the light transmission. The funny thing is, my fried bought the "RevainBasics Room Darkening Blackout Curtains" and they were far superior the suppression of unwanted photons.I went ahead and ordered another set because each of the windows have blinds on them so I'm still getting the '100%' light blockage that I wanted. However if you don't have blinds and want a better blackout curtain, the RevainBasics is apparently a much better buy.I didn't include a picture of my friends curtain because there's no light so you can't see anything anyways, it would just be a solid black picture XDI will also say that these curtains, while still having good weight to them, is slightly lighter, so if your concerned with bowing/flexing of old or cheap rods, these will cause less stress on them.
