This is a strong, heavy and indestructible metal stand. I use it to mount my high quality, high performance condenser microphones and 4K digital DSLR camera for recording. I trust the weight (heavy base) and balance of my most expensive electronics. That is hard. But you get the confidence to install valuable items. Not once did anyone hit or fall over.
