Night vision works well and is easy to use, it's on the toggle switch (black and white photo of me holding the ball). The room I was testing the night vision in was pitch black before I turned it on. As you can see, you can see my sleeve, arm, ball. You can even see the ground in the background! It comes with 2 batteries and I noticed that the battery charges quite quickly. They are easy to install and remove from the camera. It comes with a wide angle lens as well as a macro lens. The images above show some macro shots (flowers and water bottle) and wide angle shots (barn and red barn). Both turned out great! I have to say that it's easy to switch from a regular lens to a macro lens and then to a wide angle lens - just unscrew it and screw it back on. I also found it very easy to switch from video mode to camera mode. It's a simple button within reach of your fingers. My hand is smaller and I've found that the camera adjustment strap snaps easily so the camera doesn't fall out of my hand. Despite this, all buttons are surprisingly still within reach of my fingers. The beep and shutter sound bothered me so I quickly went and found the button and toggled it off, no problem finding where to do it. The stereo microphone comes with 2 batteries. These batteries are easy to install if you have trouble, the instruction manual is good at showing you and telling you what to do. Installing the stereo microphone is just as easy, and again there are clear instructions on how to do it if you get stuck. I uploaded a video showing the tight talk mode (-10) as well as the normal mode (0). Works perfectly! I couldn't test the Far Sound mode. I then removed the stereo microphone and put 4 AA batteries (not included) in the LED light. This was an easy install and works with a toggle switch on the back of the unit. This feature is great for dark situations or situations where you just need a little extra light. Playback is easy to maneuver, you only press one button, the touch function on the screen works very well and there are no lags. The touchscreen itself is a good size and you can rotate it to film yourself or see what you're doing from a different angle. The video part of the camera also works well. I was in my car filming a corn field while driving and the playback was great. I have other videos as well, but Revain only allows you to upload one video per review. I have an unboxing video that I uploaded with the contents of everything you will find with this device. I have to say I love the large padded holdall that everything came in. Inside there are removable and repositionable dividers and they are nicely padded. There are also zip pockets inside and outside the tote bag. In summary, this camcorder has a lot of great features and they all seem to work well. The only thing I would suggest to improve this device is to put the lens cap on the camera itself. Although it comes in its own cute pouch, I was surprised when I took it out that it didn't have a small lens cap on it. It doesn't matter as long as you take good care of it and store it in a small carrying case. I think it's really good value for the features it has. Yes, I would give this camera a thumbs up. You did a good job guys!
