I was a little skeptical when I first bought this charger, I've seen many products that couldn't hold the phone in the car on bumpy roads, but I'm pleased I am pleased to inform you that this does not apply to this phone holder. I currently have it installed in a rental car and it works fine. It charges quickly. I measured how long it took to charge from 15% to 75% and it took exactly 1 hour which is my morning commute. The phone I used was an iPhone 12. In terms of magnet strength, a bare iPhone 12 will stick very well on a stand, but if you have a case without magnets it won't hold. But there is a phone case that supports magnets. When connected to a mere phone, it held up even when I encountered a fairly average sized crater on the road. The magnets feel nice and strong and I'm sure they will continue to stick. I wanted a phone stand that was easy to put on and take off and this one does exactly that with the added wireless charging feature, it's like killing two birds with one stone.
