I first put it on my desk for conference calls and for ergonomic reasons. I can stand my laptop on it, tilt the top and it's a good height for the laptop's camera. I also work on the computer the same way, using a wireless keyboard to bring the screen to eye level. I sometimes use it to watch a movie or read in bed. My only concern is that the side screws feel a little flimsy and unreliable, like they could break easily. I had it for about a month and now it's essential for working from home. All in all it was a great purchase.
