Easy way to automate browser-based java application
The best feature is that it allows you to use Java in your webpages without any additional software or plugins like Selenium, TestNG etc. It's easy to integrate into my Java project and I can test my webpage very easily. Its not free though! There are some limitations such as number of concurrent users for each session. Also its not good at handling large data sets. If this solves your problem then go ahead otherwise there must be other alternatives out there. We were solving our problems related to testing by integrating it with our backend development team so we could perform automated tests while developing new features. This helped us greatly in delivering quality products faster than before.
Pros
- It provides me an ease when performing unit level regression suites.
- Its open source nature makes integration easier compared others available today which come preinstalled from IDEs (like jUnit) & tools(Like selenium ) making them difficult/expensive install process
- Good way around setting up environment variables if required but still simple enough.Not much effort needed here either due diligence done already during installation procedure itself where setup wizard will do everything automatically once prompted about
