has been present in my wooden door for many years. I wanted to install a new plug in the same place and cover up the ugly, unusable hole that was already there. I needed a replacement that had at least 2 screws and fit in the eyesore. I chose this model because it was literally the only one that fit the bill and was white. It works, and if you're comfortable with a drill, it's easy to install. The only downside is that it's unnecessarily large. It's about 1 inch longer than any other stopper I've compared it to and it's wide too. It did a good job on my front door, but I can't replace the plugs I currently have in my bedrooms as planned unless it's necessary.
