This product offers a good skin barrier. I especially like rubbing my hands and feet in the evening so they can soak in overnight. I only need a small amount so even though it's only 1 ounce the jar will last a long time. The aroma is very gentle. For me, the smell of coconut oil comes into play and dulls the lavender a bit. I would have liked a little more lavender. BUT, since many products are overly flavored, I agree with the muted taste. Also, I prefer a glass jar for a high quality product like this. It's important to note that although the can says it's recyclable, many communities (like mine) don't recycle black plastic these days because it seems to interfere with the sorting process. So I'm hoping the manufacturer might consider putting it in a jar or clear plastic jar.
