Review on πŸ’‘ Dimmable LED Recessed Replacement by Parmida by Charlie Clayton

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Impressed to date minus 1 faulty

I'd like to say that I own and run the Lighting Testing Laboratory, so I know a thing or two about light sources. I read many reviews and bought them for a home renovation and then installed them in my own kitchen at home as I was pleased with the results. First the problems with the ground screw were solved and fixed. See my photos. Next they added an additional diverging lens. The kit included everything needed for installation, although I don't like plug-in connections. Pretty standard in most products these days though. I've installed them on both ceiling boxes and jars so I can say they work great either way. There is an adapter for screwing into banks. The result seems pretty accurate (although I've never tested it in a lab). Dimming with my Leviton Smart 600W dimmer is great. They dim very much, the lowest glow is very weak, very impressive. I didn't notice the sound of the dimmer and the lamp. Installed very easily. Came 1 with a broken diffuser, not the last lens but the inner one as well as the extra one is broken and doesn't work. I took this to my lab to see if it was indeed a defective device. I'm in the process of "trying" a replacement. So far I have not been able to contact anyone from the LED Light Club and both Revane and I have left messages. I will update the information when I get a reply. I can test one out when I have time and give an additional update later, but overall I'm happy with them assuming the replacement will be good. . It may not be compatible. Not all dimmers work with LEDs.
