I bought one of the cheap chargers for my galaxy watch and after a few months my wife started telling me to use original hardware. I actually had to turn the watch off and then plug it into the charger to charge it, but it did. It was a bit annoying having to turn off the watch every time I wanted to charge it. I decided to go ahead and pay money to get the original Samsung watch charging station. So far I'm not disappointed. Came in original Samsung packaging, this is a Samsung product. No more annoying messages about using original hardware. The only downside is that the price is a bit steep. But again, you get what you pay for.
