Review on 🎧 Enhance Communication with the Plantronics Voyager PRO UC WG200/B Wireless Headset by Erika Wright

Single headset for mobile phone and PC

I'm finally one step closer to becoming an android. I really wanted a wireless headset to connect to my phone for calls and to my computer for VoIP (Google Talk) and Dragon Naturally Talking. Reviews were a bit vague as to whether it would work, but after trying (and failing) the Voyager Pro+ with my computer, I sent it back and picked up the Voyager Pro UC. The call quality is excellent, I work in a very busy office and nobody can hear my crazy colleagues even if we are all on the phone at the same time (we have a small office). So far there have been no complaints about the noise in the car. Overall, I don't even think about the call quality, which means it gets the job done. What impresses me the most is the seamless integration with Windows. There is a setting in the software that permanently connects the headset to Windows, so it works very well with any software application. The problem I had with the Voyager Pro+ was that it treated software like Dragon as an incoming call; I had all sorts of connection issues, it was a mess. Now I can just walk in and out of the office and the headset will automatically connect to my computer when it's in range. It's very easy. Overall, the Dragon picks up sound very well, although not as well as my old Logitech wired USB headset. The slight loss of accuracy justifies (a) wireless and (b) a headset for computer and phone. My only complaint is that the new hardware feature that claims to know if the headset is upside down and routes the call accordingly doesn't work on my T-Mobile G2. I didn't buy a headset for this, so I don't care. The battery life is very good. I can ride 2 days on a single charge if I forget to plug it in. Next, I just need the brain implant I've been waiting for.
