I bought a folding chair to use next to the bed to help but tiptoed as the bed is too high to put it on the floor to fold and use in the bathroom with a small tub without heels to rest your feet while washing. The folding design failed because it shifted and folded when I wanted it to remain stable. This stool is the perfect little size to fit in the shower and not by the bed when I'm not using it. It is also very stable and has non-slip feet. Some people have complained that it's not durable, but it is. I weigh 230 pounds and can stand or sit on it with no movement or noise. My guess is that those who complained didn't put everything together well enough. It comes with an Allen key and you need to tighten the screws provided.
