The glass part is weak and broke after about 3 months. not good! Both the leaf and the tea basket are not much better; The cap detached from the lip cap but less than a month later was still usable even when taken off! If you value your hard-earned money, DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM. The top part (pictured) should be solid and fall apart after a month or two of use; fresh from the wash. it is not visible that it was soldered; It's like glue that has softened over time. When washing, the handle of the basket flew off; Its legs appear to be too short for the holes in the basket it is attached to.
