I have this collar with 2.25mm teeth because it's the size shown in some Upstate Canine Academy YouTube training videos for the Training large dogs is recommended not to pull on the leash and helps with fear of noisy cars and pedestrians. I was worried it would get tangled in my Labradoodle's curly dog fur, but it turns out that's really not a problem. All I have to do is pull it slowly, skimming off any curls that might get caught on the prong. While it's easy enough to add and remove links when the collar isn't on my dog, I really like the quick release metal buckle. So this style works well for us. The only thing I have is that the sliding plastic cover over the buckle release button is not attached to the collar. I'm scared of losing it. I love this lid and think it's useful for preventing accidental removal. Be careful when removing the collar and make sure to fasten it every time you take it off!
