Review on Bluestone Down Feather Gusset Topper by Edgar Gomez

I'm so disappointed I still don't have a mattress topper for our new foam mattress. My first order for this mattress topper arrived the same day as my mattress (it took 4 days instead of 2 with Prime which was frustrating but still accepted) so we waited until the mattress was fully inflated to open the box. The day came to make a new bed out of heavenly down, but in the box was a car tire. Yes, a real rubber tire. Epic Confusion. So I had to take the car tire to UPS to wait another WEEK for the feather bed. I was so excited when it arrived. He was very small in the vacuum pack so I cut up this bad boy and put him on the bed to fluff him up and then my husband and I went to the gym. After 2 hours this mattress pad was well risen and looked like it was ready to puff and roll. But the air in the bedroom smelled strongly of mold. The fluff from the topper only made matters worse. My husband was having an asthma attack and I was coughing and sneezing trying to figure out how to get this thing back into the tiny plastic it was in or even into the box. I didn't take any photos because you can't photograph the smell, but I'd love to get a video of me stuffing my feathers in a panic while my husband gasps because that would show how bad things were. The sheets and pillows needed to be washed as they were now covered in mold spores (and odors) and the mattress pad needed to be stuffed into another, larger box. Unfortunately I'm currently waiting for a refund as I can't believe Revain can properly complete this order. The returns section of the site is effective but doesn't extend to any type of customer service if you've been scammed twice by a mattress topper.
