I bought this lamp for daily bedside reading. The light is stable and bright. No bursts yet. I'll keep an eye on it and let you know if it starts blinking in a few months. (This is exactly what happened with my last LED from another brand.) I really like the yellowish light as it feels warm and cozy. I can feel five levels of brightness and they are very easy to adjust. At first I thought the power cord was very short, but I was wrong. There is a very long cable on the side of the adapter. And I'm happy with that. A small problem is that I cannot attach the lamp to the bed at a comfortable angle. The lamp will look straight and vertical up or down in a very strange position. Luckily I was able to attach it to the underside of the bed frame. So if you are looking for a bedside reading lamp, keep that in mind. In addition, the maximum width of the hair clipper is only 1.5 inches. If you have a thick countertop or similar, you may not be able to install the lamp.
