I use oil paints but have also used these for various art projects such as watercolor, pastels, and for use in pencil art. They hold up beautifully if cleaned after use as all brushes should be. I use odorless paint thinner and brush cleaner. The handles are finished nicely and are durable. I like the selection of small brushes that can be hard to find in brush sets. They hold paint and I haven’t had issues with paint not adhering to canvas. I own more expensive brushes as well but prefer using these. And for the price, I keep the sets separate for each media. Id highly recommend.
