Review on 🐶 Optimal Nutrition for Large Breed Dogs: Royal Canin Size Health Nutrition Dry Dog Food by Amber Adams

A month ago I would have enthusiastically said that this product is excellent, my dog has been eating it for a little over a year without any problems. Last month we received our usual Sign and Save (S&S) package, except this time the dog food bag wasn't vacuum sealed. We didn't give it much thought at the time as there was no sign of the food being tampered with and it wasn't until our dog refused to eat the food that we began to suspect something was wrong. Our dog became ill after eating the food so we discarded the leftover food and bought him a new bag of food (same brand/mixture) from Petco at a much higher price than our S&S discounted price. We looked through various brands, including prescription products, before using this quality brand that we were able to conveniently order from Revain at a discounted S&S price. Unfortunately I have to stop using this feed especially from this Revain supplier as I feel my trust and confidence has been shaken. I cannot justify exposing my beloved pet to potentially harmful foods to save money and convenience. I could resort to ordering food direct from Royal Canin to ensure there are no preservation or contamination issues. I should also warn anyone with pets with food intolerances against buying this food from unreliable sources.
