My furniture saved!
I rescued two kittens and was afraid they would use my furniture as notebooks. So I bought two different types of notebooks to put in two parts of the room. They were immediately drawn to the bouncy toy that comes with the notebook, and as soon as their feet touched the surface, they started scratching. They didn't touch the other. They didn't use the furniture either! Also, it's been months and I haven't had to pry out the replacement gasket that came with this product. Very important!
