Like a firm memory foam
This pillow is firm but like memory foam. my hips are perhaps a bit wide for it but it still gave me stability and the ability to stay off the buttocks area that needed to heal. This pillow worked in all of the places I tried. office chair, dining table, car and even on my couch which was nice when I wanted to relax and watch a movie! Highly recommend!
