Review on Fujifilm Instax SP 3 Mobile Printer Camera & Photo by Paul Gim ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

A completely ordinary product, nothing remarkable.

The pricing, in my opinion, completely misrepresents the quality. You shouldn't anticipate getting high-quality images from this printer because it is more of a toy than a useful device. In my case, I'll give it a quick play before setting it aside on a shelf to collect dust. Using the iOS Instax Share app is a complete pain. You must follow these steps in exact order if you want to print a picture that was taken in the past rather than right now: 1. Open the interesting photos on your phone so they can be downloaded from iCloud to the memory of your phone. If you don't do this, the Instax Share application will display errors and won't let you print pictures. 2. Find the same photos that were just uploaded from iCloud again in the Instax Share app and choose them to print. 3. Activate the printer. 4. Navigate to the Wi-Fi settings on your smartphone and connect it to the printer using a unique access point that the printer has provided. In other words, you must momentarily unplug from your home Wi-Fi if you are currently at home and connected to it. 5. Now that you can send photos for printing, go back to the Instax Share application. The application has numerous flaws as well, such as the fact that it is not adapted for the resolutions of contemporary smartphones.

Pros
  • Any photo from your smartphone, as well as directly from the social media sites Instagram, Facebook, etc., can be printed out right away. Before printing, photographs can be edited, resized, applied filters, and more using a specialized smartphone app. It is portable, lightweight, and portable.
Cons
  • The quality of printed images is really poor; natural colors and crispness are gone, and blurring is visible. More on the poorly designed and difficult method of connecting a printer to a smartphone in the comments. One cartridge costs a lot for ten shots (currently about 700-800).
