These are very bright but they need a resistor for most cars. I have installed these on our Ford Focus and Hyundai Sonata (different model, same brand), both needed relays so they wouldn't hyper flash. On the Ford, the front turn signals stayed on the entire time and would not flash while the back worked perfectly. These were extremely bright lights. I never personally installed them but I bought these based on a recommendation from a friend and after seeing the lights myself, they were so bright I bought them without realizing that I got the wrong style light for my vehicle. Otherwise I would have easily given these 5 stars no sweat. Still amazon was fine doing the return for these and I still think these are amazing bulbs.

I bought thes for my 03 Jeep Grand Cherokee for the rear tail lights and I am very impressed. They were easy to install and are very bright especially the reverse lights witch is nice

Super easy replacement for burnt out incandescent bulbs and whiter and brighter to boot! Only thing is my blinkers operate twice as fast as before.

Awesome LEDs! You'll definitely need resistors though. My '13 focus st keeps telling me there's something wrong with them so I'll have to fix that before state inspections, but they work perfectly and are much brighter even during the day.

Extremely bright awesome lights.Installed on 2005 Nissan Xterra.I've been using for a while and do a lot of night driving. All L.E.D. bulbs still working where others I've had have burned out led's in a few days. I have hundreds of night driving hours and all still work great.

I have to say I absolutely love these. My brake lights are impossible to miss now. I put these on a 2009 Silverado to make the brakes more noticeable in traffic here in the Bay Area. They are definitely bright and amazing. The only reason they did not give 5/5 stars is without a resistor installation, they will cause rapid turn signal flash. Still a great purchase.

Very bright LED lights. Used 6 of them for a 96 Mustang rear tail lights. Works with the brake light and blinker function with appropriate led flasher relay module. Good quality and packaging in an Anti-Static bag. Bulbs fit nice and tight into sockets with little play ensuring trouble free operation. Projector lens on the bulb is highly visible and ensures good visibility for those behind you. Make sure you get the polarity right, and you will be impressed with these bulbs.

These would be a good replacement if your incandescent burns out and you want something with long life. However, they are not brighter than stock incandescent lights. Also, if you are using these to replace a dual element single incandescent bulb (dual brake lamp/taillight) the brake lamp function is not that much brighter than the stock tail lamp illumination and is barely noticeable. Installed in new LED rear lights on my 2005 Dodge Ram 3500 as replacement back-up lights. Simple replacement and the brightness is more than twice the original bulbs. It is so nice to have great visibility when backing up in the dark!

Simple plug and play functionI dont think it is 1,000 lumen, but is very bright. At night, it is definitely intense. I wanted extra bright, so I am very happy with this purchase. As reverse lights and driving lights, it is perfect for rural driving. It may be a tiny bit obnoxious for city driving, I dont know there.

Very cool bulb with a back up light, maybe if I did not use them in the front I wouldn’t of had to change the relay but the relay was another $18 and the tool to take out my stereo to get to the relay was another $12. Not easy to get to the relay on my Ford excursion being it was very tight in back of where my stereo was mounted not where all the other relays were.

These bulbs are exactly what I was looking for! They are super bright. when my running lights are on and I apply the brakes it's a very noticeable difference in brightness! I highly recommend these to anyone looking for a great replacement.

these were so bright my phone actually dimmed that part of the image to keep it from bleaching out the rest of it.in the individual pictures you can see how bright the reverse lights are.note, do not look at the lights before the cover is on, they will blind you.
